Building a safer future for digital intimacy

Community & Coalition Building

We unite 100+ organizations and experts across digital rights, sextech, and advocacy into a collective force for change. By fostering collaboration between industry leaders, academics, and grassroots activists, we amplify diverse voices and create the critical mass needed to shift policy and culture.

Policy & Advocacy

We engage directly with lawmakers and regulators at the EU to challenge discriminatory platform policies, shape and advocate for inclusive AI policies, and ensure that digital rights extend to intimate expression. From deepfake legislation to content moderation reform, we bring the voices of affected communities to the table.

What is Digital Intimacy Anyway?

Digital intimacy is everything that shapes our intimate lives through technology. It includes the apps we use to date, flirt, track our cycles, explore pleasure, watch porn, build relationships, and express our identities online. It also includes the systems behind those experiences: how porn performers are treated on set, how payment providers discriminate against sex workers, and how technology is used to facilitate gender-based violence, censorship, surveillance, and harassment.

Our intimate lives don’t stop when we go online. These digital spaces are real spaces of connection, pleasure, labor, safety, and self-expression; and they’re increasingly under threat. We’re here to protect them.

Who Are We?

Founded in 2023, the Digital Intimacy Coalition brings together 100+ organizations and experts from across the digital rights and sextech landscape. We are educators, sex workers, artists, activists, technologists, and policymakers. We fight for digital spaces where privacy, pleasure, and freedom of expression are protected and celebrated. We’re building a world where technology empowers intimacy instead of exploiting it. One where people of all identities can thrive online and offline; freely, safely, and without shame.

We believe digital intimacy is a right, and that’s the future we want to create. In a world where tech giants mine desire for profit, we imagine digital spaces that are safer, freer, sex-positive, and inclusive by design.

How are We Fighting For it?

We believe a better future is possible, and we walk the walk. The Digital Intimacy Coalition brings together advocacy, education, and mutual support to drive lasting change. We launch public campaigns, engage policymakers, and build alliances across digital rights, sextech, and feminist movements. We support each other against censorship and surveillance, share resources, and educate communities to protect their rights and assert their pleasure. Big Tech lobbies for control? We lobby for consent.
